A Recent study published in JAMA Intern Med 2022 and a relatively new method of training in North America that is actually a remedy for the problem.

The JAMA Internal Medicine January 2022 study concludes if adults 40+ increased the level of their exercise intensity for only 10 minutes a day from mild, to moderate-to-vigorous, it would save over 100,000 people's lives.
